The drama of Solness and the eccentric way-of-being in the work of Binswanger

This study aims to analyze the eccentric way-of-being of the existence, as understood by Binswanger´s Daseinsanalyse. This comprehension is strongly influenced by the existential analytics of Martin Heidegger. We use the play The Master Builder, of Henrik Ibsen, which was mentioned by Binswanger as an example of eccentricity. However, the author did not develop the reasons for the importance of the work. We intended to enlarge the analysis of the drama, and show its relations to the eccentric existence. Our reflections led us to understand that the Daseinsanalyse enables relocating psychopathological symptoms to its original foundation, which is the existence itself. In this sense, the eccentricity, before being an idea, behavior, or thought, has its roots in the disproportion of the a priori fundamental existential structures which allow the revelation of the Dasein as being-in-the-world.
